Where do I get a pug?
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE EMAILING ME!!!!!
Each week I am inundated with people asking where they can get a pug. I am not a pug breeder or a pug broker and while I would love to help you I really can't offer any advice apart from the following:
- Contact the Canine Council in your state and then search for 'pugs' under the 'breeders' section or alternatively why don't you save a Pug that has been abandoned and contact the Pug Rescue organisation in your state.
- You can also try the Pug Dog Club in your particular state or territory. Each club has it's own welfare division who may be able to help you.
- From time to time, Jean of Pug Welfare (NSW Pug Club) has rescue pugs if you contact me direct I can pass on your details for you to go on the waiting list. Generally they are adult pugs not puppies.
- If you see someone on the street with a pug, ask them where they got theirs from.
