Where do I get a Pug?

Where do I get a pug?

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE EMAILING ME!!!!!

Each week I am inundated with people asking where they can get a pug.  I am not a pug breeder or a pug broker and while I would love to help you I really can't offer any advice apart from the following:

  1. Contact the Canine Council  in your state and then search for 'pugs' under the 'breeders' section or alternatively why don't you save a Pug that has been abandoned and contact the Pug Rescue organisation in your state.
  2. You can also try the Pug Dog Club in your particular state or territory. Each club has it's own welfare division who may be able to help you.
  3. From time to time, Jean of Pug Welfare (NSW Pug Club) has rescue pugs if you contact me direct I can pass on your details for you to go on the waiting list.  Generally they are adult pugs not puppies.
  4. If you see someone on the street with a pug, ask them where they got theirs from.
